Talk about making assumptions...
I didn't say any such thing. I'd really appreciate it if you would
refrain from putting words in my mouth.
You assume that because I said "maybe not," that I would refuse to
perform my duties. You could not be more wrong. I didn't say that.
If you are in trouble... Say, some asshole pointing a firearm at
your head, demanding all of your precious money... How am I supposed to do
something about that if I am 14 miles away, dealing with the DUI accident
caused by your best buddy having three fourties for lunch and then racing
down the street in a 4500 pound steel weapon? Those are my main duties.
Traffic enforcement and DUI abatement. So, the next time you or your wife
make it home in one piece... You're welcome. And the next time you have
"just a few beers," and decide that you're OK to drive home... Watch out.
I'm right behind you. And be aware... You don't have to be over the .08
BAC
for me to arrest you. The law states that it is unlawful to operate a
motor
vehicle in an impaired state. You don't need to be "legally drunk" to be
considered impaired. If I smell alcohol, and decide that I think you're
impaired, you are going to jail. Do not pass go, do not collect two
hundred
dollars. Don't think the judge will bust you loose, either. Cuz he won't.
If
I show him a BAC of .04, and tell him that in my opinoin you were
impaired,
guess who gets a conviction on his record? That's right... You.
Get it? I can't be in several places at once. Neither can you. And
neither can the folks at Firefox. How about that.
What's all this got to do with the original poster assuming that
Firefox is out of business, simply because they are tied up in the busiest
season of their year?
My statement is that if this person cannot figure out that a pyro
supplier is busy for the fourth of July, then he doesn't possess the
common
sense to be playing with powdered metals and energetic oxidizers.
Now. make a stink about the ATFE wanting rocketeers to get
permits.
The propellant we use cannot be made to detonate. But the raw materials...
Now, THERE are some hazards. So, I ask you... Do you want someone that has
no common sense playing with powdered metals and oxidizers next door to
your
family? Yes or no. It's a simple question.
There's a great big elephant in the room, but no one wants to say
anything. I will...
