HI guys . well im about to make a mold up . once ive made the mold up
and reddy to make a hull.
im wanting to know if you can thin gel coat with aceton to get it not
so thick.
and the best way to apply it . and when you want to do dirent colers
or use glitter gelcoat. or is it best just to do a base gelcoat and
paint over it . as this is how ive done 1/4 scale cer boddy in the past
but dont want to gelcoat and paint over it if the paint is going to
chip and come of with the water presher.
and im gessing if using gelcoat as a finish it has to be buffed up to
get that high ****ne you see on some gelcoats.

thanks hope to hear back.

this forum is great aks a question and it gets anssed.
cheers.......
