Yeah thanks, unfortunately I don't have any drawings, it all came from
my head and I chopped and changed on the run. The strut isn't
adjustable unfortunately however it doesn't really matter on this boat
as it was in the right spot from the get go. I have included a couple
of photos though, that might help a bit if you are interested. The
tools used were a vice, a hacksaw, a file and a drill. The strut shaft
housing was turned down and centre drilled on a lathe though.
Haven't seen the John Finch plans, I assume that it comes with
instructions too. The original plans on this site that I got came with
a full set of build photos for the 48 inch gas version which was quite
helpful as far as the build was concerned. The rest I made up and made
it into electric quite easily.
