48 inch woody specs

by birdman444 <birdman444.3agh65@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 3, 2008 at 05:01 PM

Hi,

I've decided to build a 48" woody to be powered with a Zen or Sikk.
Before I start I would like to know a couple of things.

1. What is the V-angle of the typical 48" woody (also found in the
download section of this site)?

2. How does the hull handle waves in comparison to an offshore deep V
hull of an equivalent size?

3. Since I'm trying to keep a tight budget on this project I've looked
all over for engines and hardware. Can I trust the quality of ebay-only
stores ****pping from the far east? They are approx half the price as
typical european stores (I do not claim they are same quality parts).

Thanks for helping out a n00b!
