question on chines

by formula175 <formula175.37gu61@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 6, 2008 at 04:11 PM

hello

im kinda new to rc boating, iv built one boat before from my own plans,
this was jut to get a feel of the hobby, see if i like it. now im
hooked. iv got the plans for the 72 offshore mono and i have scaled it
down to 40", 72 was way too big and expensive for me to handle. now i
was looking at the plans and im wondering wether i need chines the far
end of each side of the hull to deflect water. if i add them will they
effect the boats turning performance?
