Some people are having a lot of trouble with 2.4 in boats. The reason is 
that the signal will not go through water. If your antenna gets soaked,
you 
could lose control. I have watched a lot of boats lose control with 2.4Ghz

but granted, they were all using Spektrums. The Futaba or Airtronics may
be 
better. For me, I'm sticking with 75Mhz in my boats and using 2.4 in my 
aircraft.
