Car accessory shops used to sell a spray-on transparent film for tinting
the windows of auto's and you could also get some stuff like Saran wrap
or clingfilm for the same job which 'vacuumed' itself to the glass, the
spray-on stuff was pretty good as long as the glass was chemically clean
before spraying,
