Futaba GV-1 function GvOf

by Robert Roland <fake@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 27, 2008 at 11:48 PM

If I understand correctly, the GvOf function is supposed to disengage
the governor when full throttle is applied. This makes sure you get
the engine's full power, even if it means overspeeding the rotor.

When I enable this function, the SwCd function still indicates "ON"
when I move the stick to full throttle. Is that correct behavior?

The manual states that the RPM setting must be set to 1600RPM or
higher for this function to work. Some googling, however, might
indicate that it is the actual head speed that has to reach 1600 for
this function to activate. Is that right?
