In that case are you sure that Reflex is picking up the throttle and pitch
separately? I.E. they are not assigned to the same channel within the
software.

I don't have Reflex but know that FMS doesn't pickup the pitch but it does
pickup the throttle so that is exactly what happens if you try to use
throttle hold on that... the heli just drops to the ground as there is no
pitch or throttle input.

Try configuring a spare model memory on the TX from factory defaults just
to
eliminate any inadvertently enabled mixing in the memory that you are
using.
