I have three 450s with over 400 flights between 'em all - over 200 of
those on a heli that's been lawn-darted over a dozen times - and have
*never* broken a belt.

Make sure the belt is running down the center of the pulley (both
ends) and set it up so it's *JUST* tight enough to stop the belt from
slipping.  (Hold the TR and turn the head.  It should take a pretty
good twist to get the belt to skip a tooth.)

Also, this is an arguable point, but I've been lubing my belt with
food grade silcone spray since day 1.  Again, I have NEVER broken (or
even damaged) a belt..
