What you need my friend is a tool supply house where one can purchase 
hexagon bar or even long "ball" ended Allen keys. Cut off the short end of
a 
long ball ended Allen key. A Dremel and a cut-off wheel do this superbly.

It's no biggie to carve out a ball shape at one of of a hex bar using 
nothing more sophisticated than a bastard file either, so no ****ing 
excuses, eh?
