it helps to remember that the co-commanche is essentially an esky Lama
V4 with a cooler canopy design. The tail rotor on the Co-commanche is
for aesthetics only and serves no function during flight.
in general, esky products are cheaper than their e-flite
counterparts. (it's e-flite who manufactures the blade) one of the
chief reasons for this is that e-flite is an american subsidiary
company, which distributes its products to local hobby shops across
the country. when you pay extra for the blade, you're paying for the
****pping and distribution costs to bring the helicopters over from
china. when you buy esky helicopters, however, they're direct from
hong kong.
another thing to remember is what Kevin R meant by one being a cheap
copy of the other. having owned and flown and crashed both, i
honestly can't vouch for the validity of such a claim. the blade has
broken just as much as the lama. they're as equivalent as they come.
