Well I just ended up with an old O.S. FS-60 and from the info it’s the
3rd version. The last time it ran was at least 14 years ago. It came
on a 5 1/2 foot wing span J-3 Cub that could be just as old as the
engine. I say the plane is at least 20 years old. I need to replace
the radio equipment (servos, rx, and battery) and figure out the whole
power situation. It’s mounted horizontally and looks like an upside
down would be better. Looks like I have 2 choices; get help to overhaul
the engine or sell the engine and use the $$$ towards a new .60 size
engine. I know this thread is old but any help is appreciated.
