Water Based Paint and Silkspan

by Tim Wescott <tim@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 7, 2008 at 12:20 PM

While I'm asking, has anyone used water based paint with silkspan? I
love that stuff for small models; it's the worlds most forgiving
covering material I've ever put on a model. But the way it sags when
you wet it makes me worry about painting it with something that's
largely water...

If you dis-recommend silkspan, what _would_ you suggest for smallish
models; I'm looking for something that I can put on a model without
killing myself over wrinkles, then put a nice painted surface on.

Thanks.
