Couldn't you have got railways in there somehow to keep on topic?
For example, Prussia sold Vietnam some redundant standard gauge G4 class
0-6-0 goods locos just before WWI.
Given that Chinese railways are broad gauge and Vietnam's are (mostly)
metre gauge, where did those locos get used and was McCain involved?
