I received an email reply from Quiltmaker this am - they will honour
the lower website price on a renewal subscription for my magazine -
they apologized for the higher priced 'special' offer. In this case,
logic has paid off.
I don't object to so-called special startup rates for new customers
and realize that full price is applicable after a certain time period
- but in the case of magazine subscriptions, where there is no penalty
for cancelling a subscription, the same rates should apply for all
customers (with international variances applied, of course).
