That's how they get you to subscribe. Internet service providers do the
same thing, new subscribers get a good deal for the first 3 months, then
the
price goes up to the 'regular' price. Satellite TV does that, also. You
subscribe to a book club, you get 6 or 7 books almost free, then you have
to
start paying for them!

subscription is good until 2009 but my point is that the cost for
renewing is $17US more than the cost of a new subscription. I don't
object to receiving multiple renewal notices but I do object to the
extra cost attached to a renewal offer. eg. new 2yr subscription =
$41.97 while a renewal for the same 2yr period = $58.98!!
