Many magazines are HURTING big time -- due to the Internet. I've noticed
with several of my subscriptions that they send renewal cards about every
6
months (including some of my quilting magazines)!! I hold onto the card
and
wait until I receive the next issue and look at the label. There is
almost
always a "code" that tells how long your subscription will go...
In the "olden days" -- you only got the renewal notice when you were about
to expire (well -- your subscription was about to expire!). Before I
realized the change in frequency -- and before I started keeping track...
I
got the card and if I like the magazine I sent in the renewal.
I'm good on several magazines until 2010 (and 2012 on one of them!!!)
So keep track of your subscriptions -- they'll keep sending you the
renewal
notices -- even if your subscription isn't due to expire for a good long
time!!!
