lets see if i got this right or not.
not that it matters much.
either way, i'm posting to test after being offline with stupid puter that
would not boot up for a week.
i gave it three or four days by itself, after the initial rebooting trys.
then try'd it again for a whole day.
then dh asked me when i was gonna let him take it to a technician to
figure
out cuz ds will need it when uni holidays end and he is back in cl*****
again.
well today i tried removing the oldest harddrive, moveing newest into that
spot, adding a totally new h/d, reinstalling windows, setting up modem,
calling isp, waiting damn near an hour over 3 different calls just to get
the right number to put into the modem setup so i could get online and
finally i'm here.
now to download all the winXP updates yet again, AVG again, various other
programs again, checking email, ngs, yahoo groups etc etc etc ad naseum.
then i'm taking a long nap, a few days at least cuz this is all a right
pita
to say the least.
