I agree, the 625 is a very good mechanical machine. You typed 652 but
I assume you mean 625. The schoolmate is more of a teaching machine,
and while good is not as good as the 625. At least that would be my
evaluation. Another machine you might think about, is the Janome 6019
QC. while it is billed as a quilting machine is comes with all the
abilities of a regular mechanical sewing machine. I almost bought this
machine when I was looking at Janome's.
