Desperate for help on slipping stitches on Toyota overlocker

by m_at_angeliqueshields_dot_com@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (AngeliCat) Jun 7, 2008 at 05:56 PM

Hi everyone. I only signed up today and already lost my first post somehow
:) so I am desperately asking again - From new my Toyota overlocker slips
a stitch every few cm - it ruins rolled hems and leaves an unsightly gap
in normal overlocking and doesnt seal the edge. Where I bought it from was
not much help and I was hoping someone had a similar problem and knew what
would be involved in repairing it?
I tried different needles but may still have used the wrong ones, and I
tried tensions and sewing slowly - sewing slower did help a little but its
very frustrating! Any suggestions most welcome!
