I need some advice. I am making a wedding dress for a friend. It's a
fairly simple design- not very structured but in a quite lightweight silk
that I need to line so that it isn't too transparent. Ordinarily with this
type of light silk I would use a french seam but I also need to put an
invisible zip into the side seam (and then line it) so how do I do this??
Are there any other kinds of seams that I could use instead? (I don't have
an overlocker). Please help- it's quite urgent. I can always figure
something out of course, but I am hoping that someone has some great
advice so that it will be perfect! Thanks in advance...
