Re: Sticky change over valve

by "new jersey" <t.seput@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 19, 2008 at 02:17 AM

First of all let me say that I am not HVAC person
However I am Refrigeration Tech with more experience then most of
guys in this forum.
To start with perhaps it is mistake replacing Eva****ator assembly that is
not design to be use as you have, but never the less properly match and
install
system should work. question here is did the valves work ok before
system was modified, was valves been removed and then reinstall
if they was removed and reinstall, have they been install properly
(in/out)
as for refrigerant I would not worry about that R-22 or replacement MX-22
will be around for many years to come and let no one tell you other wise.
lubrication for valve there is no such thing since valve is constantly
lubricated
by internal oil with in the system, don't forget that valves can fail go
bad
at any time
like anything else our life's nothing last forever, however I would check
that valves
are install properly and if are powered up at proper time to switch over.
